The job of a swimming pool filter is to remove the dirt and other matter in the water to help reduce the growth of bacteria and keep your water clean. AstralPool have a filter to suit your requirements.
These days the two main options are sand and cartridge filters. Usually I recommend a sand filter as it handles much larger amounts of debris (such as leaves) in the pool. A sand filter offers better filtration, especially when filled with high quality crushed glass.
However, there are times when a sand filter isn’t a possible option as it is bigger than a cartridge filter and needs space to be backwashed. In this case I would recommend the most suitable cartridge filter.
